dusty or windy areas.
(1) Remove the seat
cushion and the fuel tank
respectively.
(2) Remove the fixing screw
① of the outer cover of the air filter element, and
remove the air filter element.
(3) Replace with a new paper filter element.
(4) Reinstall the components in the reverse order of
disassembly.
Warning
Do not clean the filter element of the air filter
(including blowing dust with compressed air). Any
cleaning may cause degradation of the filter element
and damage the engine. Replace the filter element
every 7000km.
When replacing the paper filter element, the filter

element must not be stained with oil or water,
otherwise the filter element will be blocked and fail. It
is recommended that you have this work done by the
local QJMOTOR service station.
Caution
If the motorcycle is driven in a more humid or dusty
environment than usual, or according to other driving
conditions, it is necessary to shorten the replacement
interval of the filter element. If the filter element is
found to be blocked, damaged, dusty, the engine
power is obviously reduced, and the fuel consumption
is increased, the filter element should be replaced
immediately, and it should not be handled during
maintenance.
Starting the engine without installing the air filter will
cause dust to enter the cylinder and damage the
