• Do not allow hands, other body parts or clothing to
be near moving parts.
• Switch off the power source immediately and wait
until the product has run down if the airflow hits a
foreign object or if the product starts to make un-
usual noises or vibrate. Remove the battery and
take the following steps before restarting and oper-
ating the machine:
– Inspect for damage;
– Replace or repair damaged parts;
– check for loose parts and tighten them.
• Avoid abnormal postures. Always keep your bal-
ance to have a secure footing on slopes at all times.
Walk, do not run.
• Never work on a slippery and slippery slope.
• Never leave the working area of the product while
the product is running, or as long as it has not come
to an absolute standstill.
Operation:
• Do not switch the product on if it is held the other
way round or not in the work position.

invites accidents.

in particular the airflow at eyes or ears.

• Do not stretch your body too far and be careful not
to lose your balance.
• Keep eyes, ears and hands away from the vents
during operation.
• Do not work with the product when you are tired or
are unfocused or after taking alcohol or tablets. Al-
ways take breaks from work in good time. Remain
sensible when working. Move slowly, do not run.
• Prolonged use of the product can lead to vibration-
induced circulatory disorders of the hands. Howev-
er, you can extend the duration of use by wearing
suitable gloves or taking regular breaks.
• Only work in daylight or with good, artificial lighting.
• Stop the product and remove the battery. Ensure
that all moving parts have come to a complete stop
and cooled down:
– when the product is not in use, is being trans-
ported or is unattended;
– before clearing a blockage or blocked ducts,
– before checking, cleaning or other work on the
machine.
– after contact with foreign objects or in the event
of abnormal vibrations.
• Keep the energy source clean of debris and other
accumulations to prevent damage to it or possible
fire.

• Do not tilt the machine while the energy source is
active.
• Do not use the product in enclosed or poorly venti-
lated rooms.
• Do not use the product in the vicinity of combustible
fluids or gases. There is a risk of fire or explosion if
disregarded.
• In the event of an accident or a fault during opera-

switched on and off. Damaged switches must be re-
placed at a customer service workshop. Do not
overload your product. Only work in the specified

heavy work. Do not use your product for purposes
for which it is not intended.
• Always allow the product to cool down before stor-
ing it.
Recommendation:
• Avoid operating the machine in bad weather condi-
tions, especially when there is a risk of lightning.
