6.4 - WIRING
It is necessary to operate in a non-explosive atmosphere and to close the gas before installation.
• ATTENTION: The CPI or CPI/OPI switch is supplied with a pre-wired connection cable with a length of 3 meters. This cable
CANNOT be replaced with a different one and, in case of damage, the component must be discarded and replaced with
one that is identical and intact. Any repair (if possible) can only be carried out by the manufacturer;
• In the hazardous area, wire the ends of the cable with approved explosion-protected equipment (E.g. Terminal box with "e"
protection or increased safety according to EN 60079-7) using the appropriate terminal lugs;
CPI
• Connect the connecting cable (23) in series to the signalling device (see fig. 3).
Grey: Common
Brown: Valve Open; Valve open signal.
Black: Valve Closed; Indirect signal of closed valve (not mechanically controlled on the valve).
Yellow/Green:
• Open and close the solenoid valve (giving and removing voltage) 2-3 times to check the correct signalling of the microswitch.
CPI + OPI
• Connect the connecting cable (23) in series to the signalling device (see fig. 3).
Grey: Common
Brown: Valve Open; Valve open signal.
Black: Valve Closed; Valve closed signal.
Yellow/Green:

7.0 - TRANSPORTATION, STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
• During transportation, the material must be treated with care, avoiding a situation whereby the device can be subjected to
shocks, blows or vibrations;
• If the product has surface treatments (e.g. painting, cataphoresis, etc.) they must not be damaged during transportation;
• The transportation and storage temperature is that indicated in the plate data;
• If the device is not installed immediately after delivery it must be properly stored in a dry, clean place;
• In humid environments it is necessary to use drying agents or heating to avoid condensation.
• The product, at the end of its life, must be disposed of in compliance with the legislation in force in the country where this
operation is carried out.
8.0 - WARRANTY
The warranty conditions established with the manufacturer at the time of supply apply.
For damage caused by:
• Improper use of the device;
• Non-compliance with the requirements indicated in this document;
• Non-compliance with the installation rules;
• Tampering, modification and use of non-original spare parts;
no claims under warranty or damages can be requested.
Maintenance work, the assembly of equipment from other manufacturers, modification of the deviceand natural wear are also
excluded from the warranty.
