5. Is there a spark plug installed?
a. Remove the spark plug cap and clean any dirt around the spark plug or on the base. Then remove the
spark plug.
b. Replace the spark plug cap.
c. Put the engine switch in the ON position.
d. Bring the spark plug electrode to ground and pull the starter motor to check if there is a spark
between the spark plug electrodes.
e. If there is no spark, replace the spark plug. If all is well, try to start the engine again according to the
instructions.
6. If the engine still not start, take the tiller to your dealer.
