9. MAIN MENU AND OPERATING FUNCTIONS

The balance can be operated in the following configurations:
Balance with gram, carat, ounce, pound measuring unit
Piece counting balance
Percentage computing balance
The selection is performed as follows:
Hold MODE key pressed until the display shows "UNIT 2", release the key; pressing key MODE (short time)
it is possible to select the functions "UNIT 2", "SETUP", "CAL E", "CAL INT", wrapping around at the end
of the list. For the models without internal calibration the function "CAL INT" will not appear.
The ON/OFF key activates the selected submenu, while the TARE key exits the main menu.
When the submenu is entered, the keys operate as above: pressing ON/OFF the selection is confirmed,
while pressing TARE the selection is left unchanged.
NOTE: If no key is activated for 20 seconds, the menu level is incremented up to the end, without altering
any parameter and the balance resumes its normal operation.
The Main menu flow is the following:
UNIT 2
submenu defining the additional operating functions of the balance.
SETUP
function used to configure the balance
CAL E
activation of the external calibration ( manual calibration with user supplied weight )
CAL Int
activation of the internal calibration ( automatic calibration with built-in weight ) if present.
