Battery change

NOTE
Malfunction due to low battery charge!
Problem-free operation is only ensured if adequately charged batteries are
used.
> Replace weak batteries immediately as soon as the signal occurs!
> Only use new batteries of the following type:
2x 1.5 V Mignon batteries AA (LR6) alkaline
Type E91 Energizer industrial
(Häfele Cat. No.: 910.54.980)
> Always replace all batteries.
> The use of rechargeable battery packs is not permitted.
NOTE
Please pay attention to the following when using lithium batteries:
The type-specific discharge behaviour of lithium batteries (considerable
voltage drop at the end of the life time) may cause that a low battery is indicated
at the terminal only for a short period or not at all.
This may cause a short-term malfunction of the terminal.
We recommend changing the batteries before the winter months with the
outdoor version.
The clock continues to run for up to 5 minutes without batteries. In spite of this, the
time should be checked and set if necessary using the MDU after a battery change.
The locking authorisations for the user keys are also retained after a battery change
and do not have to be reset.
For step-by-step instructions "Battery change" see
illustrations starting on page 71.
