3. With the chin strap tight, grab the
back of the helmet by the base and try to
remove it from your head in a rotational
motion. Then try to remove the helmet
by grabbing it by centre of the visor in
the closed position. You must do these
movements with sufficient force. If the
helmet starts to come loose, the chosen
helmet is too big, so try a smaller size.
4. Lean your head backward as far as
possible. The base of the helmet should
not touch your back.

Do not have your hair rolled up or
bound inside the helmet.
Do not put anything in or on your hair
inside the helmet. Do not add anything
inside the helmet to adjust its position
on your head.

throughout the life of the helmet,
because the foam padding can change
over time. If the helmet does not
maintain the correct size over its service
life it will need to be replaced.
