changing chucks, set the control knob (16) to
chiselling.
8.7 Tool Change with SDS Chuck
Before fitting, clean tool shank and apply
special grease 6.31800! Use only SDS-
Plus tools!
Inserting the tool:
Тит the tool while seng, until it engages. The
tool is automatically locked.
Removing the tool:
Turn tool lock (3) in direction indicated by arrow (a)
and remove the tool (b).
8.8 Tool change with Futuro Plus keyless
chuck (not KHE 24 SP, BHE 22)
Insert tool. Grip the retaining oe [ү апа,

with the other hand, tum sleeve "GRIP,
ZU", until the mechanical resistance which can be
felt is overcome.
Caution! The chuck is not yet fully tightened! Keep
turning (there is a "clicking" sound while tuming),
until further tuming is no longer possible - only now
is the tool securely tightened.
With a soft toof shank, retightening may be
required after a short period of operation.
Opening the drill chuck:
Grip the mening ring 6 firmly and, with the other
hand, tum the sleeve (b) towards "AUF,
RELEASE".

Note: The ratchet sound which can possibly be
heard after opening the drill chuck, is functional
and is switched off by a reverse rotation of the
sleeve.
If the chuck is extremely tightened:

at the flats on its head and tum the sleeve
towards "AUF, RELEASE'.

8.9 Contact mode (KHE 26 Contact)
To enable the contact mode, press button (1 1).
H required, e.g. for drilling into steel girders or
steel-reinforced concrete walls, the contact mode
can be disabled by pressing the button (11).
The contact mode indicator (10) shows the current
setting:
Green: contact mode enabled.
Red: machine has switched off because
contact was made with conductive, earthed
material or a live supply cable.
Pull machine back and bit out of the hole
immediately. Have possible damage
properly repaired.
Off: contact mode disabled.
9 Tips and Tricks
Only moderate pressure is required for hammer
drilling and chiselling. Exerting a high force does
not increase performance.
When oiling deep holes, remove the drill bit
RAZY rom the hole to release the stone

Drill tiles and other brittle materials without impact.

Keyless chuck сеи
After prolonged use hold the chuck vertically, with
the opening down, and fully open and close it
several times. The dust collected falls from the
opening. The application of cleaning spray to the
jaws and jaw openings at regular intervais is
recommended.
The vent slots of the machine should be cleaned

from time to time. .
Г 11 Trouble Shooting
If the trigger 14) can not be depressed, check to
see that the direction of rotation selector switch
(12) is fully set to the В or L position.
