Tare function / Zero function
Tare: Indicates the weight of the packaging itself. It is the difference between the total weight of the goods
with the packaging and the weight of the goods without packaging. The tare is used to remove the weight
of an item that should not be included in the overall weight measurement. The tare weight is the weight of
the container and can be subtracted by placing the empty container on the scale. When the display is
stable, press the TARE button. The display will show zero and the tare indication. The tare function can be
cancelled by pressing the TARE button without the weight on the scale.
"Zero function": It should only be used when there is nothing on the scale and the display does not show
"0". The scale may not read "0" due to dust, dirt, or moisture on the weighing pan or when a heavy object
is dropped on the scale. The zeroing function essentially corrects the true zero on the scale and informs it
that there is nothing on the pan.
Overload alarm
When the weight on the scale is greater than the maximum load level, the display will show "FULL", and a
beep will sound at the same time. The weight must be removed immediately. Otherwise, the scale can
easily be damaged.
Counting Mode
The scale will count the parts by weighing a pre-set number of samples and setting the display to show this
number. Then, as more samples are added, the display will increase. If necessary, place the container on
the scale and press the TARE button before starting.
After selecting piece counting with the MODE button, press the UNIT button to select the sample size (10,
20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000 pieces). Press the TARE button to confirm.
When the "LOAD C" symbol disappears, place the number of samples (same as previously selected) on the
balance and press the TARE button.
When the "SP ing" symbol disappears, the sampling procedure is complete and you can start using the
counting function.
If the weight of the unit is too small (less than 0.5 scale graduations), the display will show:"...CLS...". It
would be best to use large parts or use ten times as many parts as required and reduce the displayed
values to 1/10.
Percentage mode
Place the item to be considered 100% on the pan as a sample and then select the percentage mode using
the UNIT button. The sampling procedure is complete and you can start using the percentage function.
When the percentage mode is complete:
- Press the UNIT button to return to weighing mode.
- Press the MODE button to return to counting mode.
Calibration
Auto calibration
Press and hold the CAL button to enter CALIBRATION mode and the display will show "LoAd-1".
Use the MODE and UNIT buttons to select the calibration method: LoAd-1, LoAd-2, LoAd-3, LoAd-4. Press
the TARE button to confirm the calibration method.
When Load-1 is selected, the mass values will select themselves for calibration; use the MODE button to
select a number and confirm with the TARE button. Once all the flashing PLS digits are displayed, place the
same weight on the scale. When the scale is stable and shows the value, then remove the weight, the scale
will return to weighing mode. The calibration procedure is now complete.
While the display is flashing and showing the weight values, place the weight on the scale according to the
display. While the scale is stable and displays "ZERO", then remove the weight until the last calibration
value is completed, the scale will return to weighing mode. The calibration procedure is now complete.
