Use the programmed playback function to play back up to 32
tracks in any order that you like. Before programming make sure
that the CD is loaded and in the stop mode.
| Press the PROGRAM button.
The PROG and indicator will appear on the FL. display.
2 Press the numeric button of the track you wish to pro-
gramme for play back.
The track number of the track selected will appear on the
music calendar and FL display. The programme number
will also appear beneath the "STEP" display.
Continue pressing the numeric buttons to programme
up to 32 tracks.
Go
Press the [> button to start programmed playback.
During programmed playback the number of the current
playback track will be indicated on the FL display and the
next track programmed for playback will flash on the music
calendar.

After playback of all programmed tracks has finished:
The CD player will stop automatically and the programmed track
numbers will re-appear on the music calendar.
To stop programmed playback:
@ Press the @ button.
Pressing the ™ button stops playback but does: not cancel
the programme.
To re-start programmed playback:
@ Press the [> button.
To cancel programmed playback:
Mi Press the CLEAR button.
The PROG indicator will disappear.
lf the CLEAR button is pressed during programmed play-
back, the normal playback mode will be engaged.
Note:
¢ When the CD player is turned off, or if the & button is
pressed, all programmed tracks will be cancelled automati-
cally.
¢ The same track number can be memorized as manytimes as
you like.
Repeat playback
With the repeat playback function you can repeat programmed
playback, random playback or regular playback continuously.
M@ Press the REPEAT button to engage the repeat mode.
The REPEAT indicator will appear on the FL display.
When the REPEAT indicator is displayed, programmed play-
back, random playback or regular playback will repeat con-
tinuously.
To stop repeat piayback:
M@ Press the @ button.
Playback will stop but the repeat mode will not be cancelled.
To cancel the repeat playback mode:
Press the REPEAT button.
The repeat indicator will disappear.
Random playback

Use the random playback function to programme the CD player
to play back tracks in a random order.
M@ Press the remote control's RANDOM button.
The CD player will automatically play back all the tracks on
the CD in a random sequence and then stop.
To stop random playback:
lH Press the @ button
Note:

© Press the CLEAR button if the PROG indicator is on the FL
display. Random playback will not function when the pro-
grammed playback mode is engaged.

A/B repeat
Use the A/B repeat feature to programme the CD for repeated
playback of any section of the CD.
1 Play back the compact disc.
2 Press the remoie control's A/B button once to mem-
orize the starting point of the section you wish to re-
peat.
The A indicator will flash on and off on the FL display.

Press the remote control's A/B button once again 'to
memorize the point where you wish to end the repeat
function.
The A indicator will stop flashing, the B indicator will appear
and A/B repeat playback will begin.
To stop and cancel A/B repeat:
lf Press the ™ button.
The A/B indicators will disappear and playback will stop.
To cancel A/B repeat without stopping playback:
@ Press the A/B button.
The A/B indicators will disappear and playback will continue.
