If the temperature of the room where the CD player is placed is
suddenly increased, or if the CD player is transported from a
cold location to a warm one, condensation (tiny droplets of
water) may form on the CD player's pickup lens or the cassette
deck's transport section (such as capstan and heads), prevent-
ing correct playback. If excess condensation forms on the com-
pact disc or inside the CD player, operation of the CD player will
not resume until the condensation has had ample time to dissi-
pate. Wait 30 minutes to one hour before using the CD player.
