Connecting an integrated amplifier
This CD player is equipped with a D/A (Digital to Analog) conver-
ter that converts the digital PCM signal to conventional left and
right channel audio signals. If you wish, a digital integrated am-
plifier equipped with a D/A converter can also be connected
using the digital OPTICAL and COAXIAL terminals.

Connection C
Connect the CD piayer's DIGITAL OUTPUT OPTICAL terminal
to the amplifier's DIGITAL INPUT (OPTICAL) terminal with an
optical fibre cable (available in Hi-Fi stores).
Connection D
Connect the CD player's DIGITAL OUTPUT COAXIAL terminal
to the amplifier's DIGITAL INPUT (COAXIAL) terminal with a
digital connection cord (available in Hi-Fi stores).

the DIGITAL OUT button.
The orange indicator will light above the button.
