9. Setting the tests
The HP80KV is a versatile instrument that allows you to perform various
types of dielectric strength tests automatically and recorded in internal
memory. It is necessary to properly define the tests to be performed,
setting the following parameters before starting the measurements: Max
Current, Max Voltage, Dwell time, Ramp Up and Ramp Down. It's these
settings that automate the modes: Manual, Auto, Ramp and SVT. To
select the test mode, simply press the mode button
