3. ASSEMBLY
Always make sure the machine is turned
off before mounting an accessory.
Warning! Change accessories by
inserting an accessory into the collet
(or chuck) as far possible to minimize run
out and unbalance.
Inserting the battery into the AX Adapter (Fig. A)
Ensure that the exterior of the battery is
clean and dry before connecting to the
charger or machine.
1. Insert the battery (16) into the base of the AX
Adapter (11) as shown in Fig. A.
2. Push the battery further forward until it clicks
into place.

1. Push the battery unlock button (19).
2. Pull the battery out of the machine like shown
in Fig. A.
When the machine is not being used
over a longer period of time it is best to
store the battery in charged condition.
Installing / replacing accessories (Fig. B)
1. To install or replace an accessory press the
spindle lock (3) and hold it down.
2. Using the chuck spanner (17) to undo the
collet chuck (1) by turning it counter clockwise.
Make sure the collet chuck does not come off.
3. Put the accessory in place and hold down the
spindle lock (3). Turn the chuck spanner (17)
clockwise to tighten the collet chuck.
Do not press the spindle lock button
while the motor is running.
4. OPERATION
The battery must be charged before first
use.
When starting work:
1. Insert the battery (16) into de AX Adapter (11)
as shown in Fig. A.
2. Switch on the adapter (11) by pressing the On/
Off button (12) on the AX Adapter.
3. Press and hold the on/off switch (5) to turn on
the machine. The LED working lights (2) will
turn on to bright up the working area.
4. Adjust the speed setting as needed with the
"+" Speed increase button (6) or with the "-"
Speed decrease button (7).
Do not put the machine down when the motor is
still running. Do not place the machine on a dusty
surface. Dust particles may enter the mechanism.
When the load is too high on a low speed
setting the Combitool can burn out the
electric motor.
Holding and guiding the tool (Fig. C)
• For precision work (engraving): pencil grip (A).
• For rough work (grinding): paring knife hand
grip (B).
• When you need to keep the tool parallel to the
work surface (e.g. using a cut-off wheel):
2 hand golf grip (C).
