This unit is fixed using a transport screw for transport-
use only to prevent vibration damage during shipping.
Prior to operation, unfasten the screw located on the
top surface of the unit and attach the accessory cap.
Insert the removed screw into the plastic holder at-
tached to the AC cord and retain it for future use.
Make sure that the screw has been removed before set-
ting the POWER switch to ON.

The performance of the compact disc player has been
improved over that of other players up to this time. For
this reason, care should be exercised
in setting the
volume, as unexpected high output from the amplifier
may damage the speakers.
Be careful not to raise the volume too high. Turn down
the volume before setting the POWER button to ON.

Bei diesem Modell ist die Ausgangsleistung gegentiber
friheren Ausfiihrungen von Compact Disc Spielern ver-
bessert. Daher bei der Einstellung der Lautstarke mit
gebiihrender Vorsicht vorgehen, da durch den unerwar-
tet hohen Ausgang des Verstarkers die Lautsprecher
beschadigt werden k6nnen.
Vorsichtig verfahren, so da8 die Lautstarke nicht zu
hoch ansteigt. Vor dem Einschalten des Gerates die
Lautstarke mdglichst reduzieren.
