Start-up
Attention!
Prior to use, check that the specifications of your
mains power supply correspond to the mains
voltage and mains frequency indicated on the
name plate.
Always connect an upstream RCD with a maximum
tripping current of 30 mA.
Attaching auxiliary handle
CAUTION!
Risk of severe injuries.
Only work with the auxiliary

handle [4] attached!
Screw in the auxiliary handle [4] firmly on the left-
hand or right-hand side of the device.
Attaching the hand guard
CAUTION!
Risk of severe injuries.
Only work with the hand guard [5]
¾
attached!
Inserting
Press button [1] and hold it down.
Slide the hand guard [5] upwards into the
groove.
First slide the glider with the widest diameter
about 5 mm into the outer groove. Then slide the
glider with the smallest diameter into the inner
groove.
Attention!
Do not try to push both gliders simultaneously
into the two grooves; this will not work. Start first
with the outer glider; the inner one will then follow
automatically.
Turning
Press the button [1] and turn the hand guard [5]
so that the closed section faces the operator.
Check that the dust extraction hood is secure:
The button [1] must engage and it must not be
possible to turn the hand guard [5].
Attaching accessories
Attention!
Before changing any parts:
Disconnect the mains plug from the socket. The
device must be switched off with the spindle
stationary.
Positioning the accessory
The 2 sides of the support flange [7] differ:
Place the support flange [7] around the
spindle [8] in such a way that the large collar
diameter matching the accessory [11] is facing
upwards.
Place the accessory [11] on the support
flange [7].
The accessory must lay flat on the support flange.
