QUICK TIMER RECORDING
Quick timer recording (QTR) lets you immediately
start recordirwg the
current channel for a selectable amount of time. Do this procedure on the
remote control.
Preparations
Select the channel to record.
Inserf a cassette with its erasure prevention tab intact.
Select the tape speed for recording, (See page 62.)
. Set the COLOR SYSTEM setting to "ALI1-O or to the color system of
the input source. (See page 30.)

Press the REC SYSTEM (NTSC, PAL) buttcm to

color system for rf?cording.
Press the NTSC button fc]r recording using the N'TSC system. For
using the PAL system press the PAL button.

The recording time indicator decreases

When "0:00
is reached, the recording stops, and the power turns off.
To stop a quick timer recording
Press the
STOP, II PAU.SEYSTILL, or PC)WER button. The recording
stops or pauses, or the power turns off.
. The channel cannot be chalnged during the QTR recording. Pause the
recording to change the channel.
A QTR recording takes priority over a timer program recc)rding and
cancels it.
