• The tool drum may be replaced by nylon and steel
brushes to clean and the surface.
12. Position of the machine operator (Fig� 8)
Function
The flail shafts can be fitted with various types of cut-
ters for hard, brittle, solid or elastic floors
(See chapter "Tools" on page 9).
The floor to be treated is exposed to heavy impacts
from the loosely fitted cutters as the tool
drum rotates. Depending on the type of cutter, this
process results in the removal of varying
quantities of material.
The tool drum can be driven by a range of motors or
engines (electric or gasoline).
FR 200, 115 V / 230 V
Description of function
Before starting put on your ear protectors and protective goggles.
1. Starting (Fig� 9): Before starting, set the depth adjuster to 0 position (Fig� 10) and then press the
green button on the switch (230V) or turn the knob of the switch to position 1 (115V) (Fig� 9).
2. Depth adjustment (Fig� 10): Push the adjusting lever (black) forwards until the cutters strike
the floor surface. (The photograph shows depth adjustment in 0 position)
• Feed: The machine operator must guide t he machine at the two handles of the handle bar.
The machine operator steers the FR 200 in cutting direction over the floor surface to be
worked on. The FR 200 is pressed against the floor and the rotating drum works into the floor
surfacing by its own weight.
3. Switching off: Set the depth adjuster to 0 position before switching off. Then press the red
button on the switch (230V) or turn the knob of the switch in position 0 (115V).
