Using the truck on a slope
i
NOTE
Incorrect use of the truck on slopes
places stress on the traction motor,
brakes and battery.
Be particularly careful near slopes:
Never attempt a slope with a gradient
greater than that specified in the truck's
data sheet. Make sure that the ground is
dry with a non-slip surface and that the
route is clear.
Ascending slopes
Always ascend slopes travelling in the
reverse direction, with the load facing
uphill. Without a load, it is recommend to
ascend slopes forwards.
Descending slopes
Travel down slopes must always be
forwards, with the load uphill. Without
a load, it is recommended to descend
slopes forwards. In all cases, travel at a
very low speed and brake very gradually.
