Only push/pull the machine in the direction of
the arrow [1] (work in up-cut mode). Otherwise
there is a risk of the machine jumping uncontrolled
out of the cut. Work with moderate feed adapted
to the material being cut.

Once the groove is complete, switch off the
machine and hold still until the diamond cut-off
wheel has come to a stop. Never try to pull
the diamond cut-off wheel out of a cut
while it is still running as this could result
in kickback.

Guide the machine upwards up to the stop.

For special applications, the protective
guard can also be used without a foot
part [11]. The attachment and removal
of the foot part is described in Section
"Attaching accessories".
Maintenance
Before any use check for missing, worn,
broken, cracked or damaged parts. Do not
use a defective or incomplete protective guard.
