Attaching auxiliary handle
CAUTION!

Work only with the auxiliary

handle [2] attached!
Screw off the auxiliary handle [2] from the angle
grinder and firmly tighten it on the left or right side
of the protective extraction hood [12].
Attaching dust extraction
CAUTION!
Risk of severe injuries.
Only work with a suitable dust

extraction system: Connect a suitable
vacuum cleaner (class M) to the
suction connection [5].
For optimum extraction, use the connection sleeve
0702 400 249.
We recommend the use of an antistatic Ø 35 mm
suction hose.
Attaching accessories
WARNING!

Pull the mains plug out of the plug

socket before all tooling operations.
The machine must be switched off

with the spindle stationary.
Attaching diamond-cut-off wheel
Disassemble the protective extraction
hood [12] and foot part [11] (fig. A)
Push the slider [10] in the direction of the arrow
and swivel the protective extraction hood [12] in
the direction of the arrow as is shown.
The protective extraction hood [12] can be removed
from the foot part [11] in the position shown.
Attaching the diamond cut-off wheel to the
angle grinder (fig. D)
Press in the spindle locking knob [4] and turn
the spindle [20] until the spindle locking knob
noticeably engages.

Put support flange [19] (scope of delivery of the
angle grinder) onto the spindle. It is fitted correctly
when it cannot be turned on the locked spindle.
Put the spacer sleeve [18] onto the support
flange [19].
Lay the diamond-cut-off wheel [17] onto the
spacer sleeve [18]. Ensure the correct direction of
rotation. The direction of rotation is indicated by
arrows on the diamond cut-off wheel and on the
protective extraction hood.
Ensure that the 2-hole clamping nut [16] and the
spindle [20] of the angle grinder match:
The inscription on the 2-hole clamping nut and the
thread indication on the rating plate of the angle
grinder must correspond with one another (M14
or 5/8").
Screw on the 2-hole clamping nut [16].
Press the spindle locking knob [4] and hold it
down.
Firmly tighten the 2-hole clamping nut [16] using
the 2-hole spanner [15].
Protective extraction hood [12] foot
part [11] assembly
Insert the 2 bolts of the protective extraction
hood [12] into the guides of the foot part [11] as
is shown (fig. B).
Swivel the protective extraction hood [12] and
the foot part [11] into one another until the
slider [10] engages and both parts are con-
nected to one another.
Ensure that the connection is secure.
Operation
WARNING!
Risk of severe injuries.
Always guide the device with both

hands on the main handle of the
angle grinder and on the auxiliary
handle [2].
Setting the desired cutting depth:
Loosen the clamping screw [6] and set to the
desired cutting depth on the scale; tighten the
clamping screw [6] again.
Set the protective guard with the foot part [11]
onto the workpiece.
Switch on the machine and wait until full speed
has been achieved.
Actuate the unlocking lever [3.] Slowly guide the
machine downwards up until the stop.
The diamond cut-off wheel penetrates into the
