6.6.1. CONNECTING THE MOTORS

To connect the motors:
- On the UTBS-2 and UTBS-3 units, the motor terminal box faces the side with the
inspection door to make it easier to access.
Run the sleeve through the cable gland installed on the unit:
In case of use the frequency inverters to regulate the fan speed, it will be use differen-
tial class B, adjusting the sensitivity value depending on the type of connection to existing
ground.
All UTBS motors have the thermal protection. It is obligatory that the installer to per-
form the motors stop-start use the thermal protectors for operating a security contactor in
the supply line of motors according to the following scheme. (installation components not
supplied with the unit)
F: Fuse
E: Switch
P: Push button start - Manual reset
G: General switch
S: Stop button
KM: Safety Contactor Fan
