7.2 Setting the direction of rotation,
engaging the transporting safety
device (switch-on lock)
Only activate the changeover switch (7)
when the motor is at a standstill!
Activate the changeover switch (direction of
rotation setting, transporting safety device) (7).
See page 3 (please unfold).
R = Clockwise setting
L = Counter-clockwise setting
0 = Middle position: transportation safety

7.3 Selecting gear stage
Note: Only activate the slide switch (1st/2nd
gear) (3) when the motor is running.
1st gear (low speed,

7.4 Setting torque control,
drilling
Turn selector barrel (torque, drilling) (2).
1...5 = Torque setting (with torque
control) - intermediate
positions are also possible.

To avoid motor overloading,
do not lock the spindle.
7.5 Switching power tool on/off, setting
speed
To start the machine, press the trigger switch (6).
The speed can be changed at the trigger switch by
pressing.
8 Use of battery charger
The maximum number of charge cycles can
only reached if an exhaustive discharge of the
battery pack is avoided. If performance dimin-
ishes, recharge the battery pack.
8.1 Charging battery pack
The operation display (8) flashes (2 seconds on, 1
second off).
Note: A battery pack that is new or has not been
used for some time only reaches full capacity after
being charged and discharged several times.

8.2 Conservation charge
The operating display (8) lights up continuously.
Once the charging process has finished, the
battery charger automatically switches to conser-
vation mode.
The battery pack can remain in the battery charger
and is therefore always ready for use.
9 Fault when charging
9.1 Battery pack defective
The operation display (8) flashes quickly (1/2
second on, 1/2 second off).
Battery pack is defective. Disconnect the battery
pack from the charger immediately.
9.2 Battery pack is not charged.
When the battery pack is inserted, the operation
display (8) lights up for approx. 2 1/2 seconds and
then turns off.
Battery pack is not charged. The temperature is
too high or too low. When the temperature of the
battery pack is between 0 °C and 50 °C, the
charging process begins automatically.
10 Tips and Tricks
For special tasks: thanks to the automatic spindle
stop, when the machine is switched off it can also
be used as a screwdriver.
When working with long screw bits or bit holders,
we recommend the use of the bit clamping bush
6.31281.
Drilling
Preferably in 2nd gear (high speed).
Screws
Preferably in 1st gear (low speed) and with
torque control.
Screws in areas that are hard to access
The angle screwdriver attachment (see chapter
Accessories) makes work at difficult-to-access
areas particularly easy.
Thread tapping
Lubricate thread drills.
Select 1st gear (low speed).
Adjust torque control.
