TROUBLESHOOTING
SYMPTOMS
The
machine
cannot
perform
the
riveting
operation.
The machine does not
work.
More than one press of
the trigger is required to
set the rivet, i.e. slow
cycle.
The jaws do not grip the
mandrel.
The next rivet does not
advance to the riveting
position in the nozzle.
Advances to the riveted
position by more than
one rivet.

PROBLEM
- Low air pressure.
- Broken or worn jaws.
- After a period of inactivity the valve remains
stuck inside.
- The air supply has been removed.
- The push button is damaged.
- Other causes.
- Low oil level or air in the hydraulic circuit.
- Lack of lubrication.
- Air pressure lower than specified.
- Dirt accumulation inside.
- Dirty, worn jaws.
- Accumulation of dirt.
- Low air pressure.
- Broken mandrel.
- Worn or broken spring.
- Damaged jaws.
- Incorrect slider orientation.
- Incorrect nozzle.
- Incorrectly fitted mandrel spring.
- Incorrect gap between the nozzle and rivet.
- The slider is grazing.
- The spring is rubbing against the slider.
- Worn mandrel.
- Incorrect gap between rivet and nozzle.

- Increase air pressure.
- Replace the jaws.
- Actuate the trigger and air fitting cut-off
several times.
- Connect and check the compressed air
supply pressure is between 6 and 7 bar.
- Replace with a new one.
- Send to distributor or BRALO for repair.
- Fill with oil and bleed the circuit according
to the procedure described in the manual.
-Perform the greasing operation of the jaw
holder, nozzle holder and cup.
- Check feed pressure is 6-7 bar.
- Perform cleaning maintenance.
- Clean or replace the jaws.
- Perform machine maintenance.
- Increase air pressure.
- Replace the mandrel.
- Install a new spring.
- Replace the jaws.
- Reorient it.
- Put on the correct nozzle.
- Re-attach the spring.
- Adjust the spacing again.
- Clean and grease slider.
- Replace the slider.
- Check the mandrel.
- Readjust the spacing.
