START-UP
1. Open the nozzle by hand (Figure D).
2. Insert the mandrel, rivets and spring into the
rivet gun.
3. Adjust the distance between the nozzle end and
the first rivet (Figure E).
4. Insert the air inlet fitting (Figure F).
5. Screw the hose onto the air inlet fitting.
6. Connect the hose to the air supply.
Remember that the working pressure must be
between 6 and 7 bar!
AIR SUPPLY
This machine is designed to operate with compressed air equipment.
An air pressure regulator must be used. This ensures a long life for the machine and minimizes its
malfunction.
Make sure that the compressed air supply is dry and clean. Humidity and impurities can cause damage to
the machine.
The air must be FILTERED AND OILED for a good operation of the machine.
Make sure that the distance between the pressure regulator and the machine should not be more than 3
meters. The air hose must be resistant to abrasion and contact with oil. If the work area can damage the
hose, use a shielded hose. The flexible hose must have one of these two conditions, that the minimum
effective working pressure is 150% of the maximum pressure produced in the system or that the pressure
is 10 bar, whichever is higher.
The hose must have an inside diameter greater than 6.4 mm or ¼ inch.
