Select the "VOLTAGE-TIME" mode
and
press OK ►.
This mode requires the knowledge
of the welding voltage / time
parameters.
These parameters are generally
written/stamped on the coupler.
Contact the coupler manufacturer
if welding voltage and time are
unknown.

Enter the voltage and time
values
Use ▲ and ▼ buttons to change
the digit value and OK ►button to
move to the next digit.

time is not stored: read the sticker
and wait for the time printed by
the manufacturer.
PRINTOUT AND USB CONNECTION
It is possible to download the
welding reports into a pen drive
(formatted FAT 16 or FAT 32) or print
them on a printer connected
through the USB port.
Select the "PRINTS & USB-CON"
mode and
press OK ►.

Select the report
Use ▲ and ▼ buttons to scroll the
reports.
The display will show a preview of
the current report (e.g. report #155
out of 157 stored reports, among
the overall 218 welding's made).
Connect the device to the USB
port. The device icon must show up
on the top-right corner.
Press OK ► to confirm.

Select either the current report
or all reports
Use ▲ and ▼ buttons to select.
Press OK ►.
it isn't possible to
print all the welding reports at the
same time.
Reports are available in pdf, csv
and binary format. The latest
format requires an additional PC
software to read the data.

can

LIMITED FUNCTIONS 6161
The 'limited functions' mode allows only operators with an ID
badge with barcode to operate.
use this mode only if you have an ID badge
of the operator with suitable barcode.
Type in 6161 and confirm with OK
button.
When 'Limited functions' mode is
active, it is not possible to modify
(enable/disable) traceability, note,
operator
modes
and
voltage/time manually.
Switch off/on the Elektra.
Now the Elektra is locked and it
prompts for ID badge to be
scanned.
Every time you try to modify the
parameters above, the screen
shows:
Type in 7272 to disable 'Limited
Functions' mode.

7.
ALARM CODES AND THEIR MEANING
The welding cycle is interrupted whenever an
error code is displayed. The interruption may jeopardize the
fitting to be welded. In no event shall Ritmo S.p.A be liable for
any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of
any whatsoever with respect to the use of pipes/ fittings
involved in the welding cycles resulting in error codes.
5 – POWER SOURCE VOLTAGE
Probable cause: Power source voltage out of range
Solution: check the power source and make sure it is suitable to
the machine features and requirements.
10 – POWER SOURCE FREQUENCY
Probable cause: Power source frequency out of the range
Solution: check the power source and make sure it is suitable to
the machine features and requirements.
15 – VOLTAGE ON THE WELDING LEADS IN STANDBY MODE
Probable cause: Hardware failure
Solution: contact an authorized service center.
20 –AMBIENT TEMPERATURE OUT OF THE RANGE
Probable cause: Ambient temperature is out of range
Solution: Protect the working site where the welding is taking
place in order to get a suitable ambient temperature.
25 – CURRENT SENSOR
Probable cause: Broken sensor.
Solution: contact an authorized service center.
30 – WELDING VOLTAGE OUT OF CONTROL
Probable cause: The power source is supplying an out-of-range
voltage.
Solution: check the power source and make sure it is suitable to
the machine features and requirements.
