It is very important to know approximate distance
from inlet to main sewer or septic tank. Overrunning
cable too far into main sewer or septic tank can
cause cables to knot up and prevent their return
through small line. If main is 12 inches or larger and

more than 10 to 15 feet of overrun. When working
into a septic tank, do not allow more than 3 to 5 feet
overrun.
1. Position machine 14" -18" from line opening and at-
tach rear guide hose. Engage stabilizer legs.
NOTE! A Front Guide Hose A-20 is available for tight
areas which permits efficient line cleaning without
" or
whipping or kinking of cable.
2. Insert first cable into front of machine and push
through guide hose until 6" to 8" remains out of front
of machine.
Never couple more than one cable at a time.
3. Snap on straight auger, to go around elbow, and
check coupling, make sure it is secure.
