Starting the charging process
Connect the appropriate adapter to the charging
system.
Connect the charging system to the mains socket
or the charging device.
The charging system will carry out an LED test that
lasts for approximately two seconds.
When charging at a mains socket:
If the "grounding" LED flashes red, no protective
earth conductor has been detected at the socket
used.
Depending on the country and the socket used, it
may be necessary to switch off protective earth
conductor detection.

If you want to set the maximum charging current,
also refer to the section "Setting the maximum

Connect the charging system to the vehicle.
Charging will start automatically.
A flashing green light on AMPERE scale (8)
indicates an active charging process. The
"charging" LED will also light up green.

Ending the charging process
End the charging process at the vehicle (see
vehicle Owner's Manual).
The vehicle socket is unlocked. If you are charging
at a type-2 charging station, the plug is also
unlocked.
Disconnect the charging system from the vehicle.
Disconnect the charging system from the mains
supply.
Stow the charging system securely.
Setting the maximum charging current
The basic setting and adjustable maximum value
depend on the adapter used and may therefore vary.

It is not possible to increase the maximum charging
current beyond the maximum value mentioned here for
