Commissioning and Operation
Parameters
A short circuit can only be recognized if the valve output is
controlled.
An off valve output can only be recognized if it is not
controlled.
O
Exchange the defective valve if the diagnostic data reports a
short circuit or open load.
These functions are made available to the bus coupler by the
valve system. The parameter bytes may be used depending on
the fieldbus system. The valve system provides the bus coupler
with 1 parameter byte.

W
Bit 1 = 0: Only send an output diagnostic message if the
output is being controlled. A check is not done to see which
solenoids are available when the system is switched on. If
an output is being controlled where there is no solenoid, a
diagnostic message will be generated.
W
Bit 1 = 1: A check is done once to see which solenoids are
available when the system is switched on. This information
is transferred to the controller via a diagnostic message.
This message can be compared with a stored system
configuration in the controller. (This function is only
supported with Profibus DP, the diagnostic data is cyclically
transferred in other fieldbus systems.)
