The drainage of appliance "1" must go to an open type of
receiving drain-trap "2" so there is no contact between the
two.
5.3.3 - Electrical connection
• Before connecting, check on the data plate that the appliance
has been tested and type-approved for the type of electrical
supply available on the premises, otherwise contact the
manufacturer.
• Connection to the electricity line must include the
installation of a circuit breaker of a suitable capacity with an
opening distance between the contacts of at least 3 mm.
In addition, when the appliance is working, the supply voltage
should not vary from the rated voltage by ± 10%.
• The characteristics of the flex for connecting to the
electricity line should be at least equal to the HO7RN-F type
with rubber insulation and its nominal cross section should
be adequate for the maximum current input.
• It is essential to connect the appliance to an effective earthing
system. For this purpose near the connecting terminal block
there is a terminal marked with the symbol
the earth wire must be connected. This earth wire must
comply with the applicable standards. there is a terminal
5.3.4 - Equipotential connection
• It is essential to connect the appliance to an equipotential
system. Use the setscrew marked with the symbol for this
connection.
• The cross-section of the equipotential wire must be 10 mm2.
• The building's earthing and equipotential systems must
conform to the laws in force and be checked periodically.
• The manufacturer is not liable if these accident prevention
rules and regulations are disregarded.
6 - CHECKING OPERATION
• Start the appliance according to the instructions for use.
• Check the setting of the safety valve.
• Check lid balance.
• Instruct the user about how to use and service the appliance
with the aid of the instruction booklet, explaining exactly
what has to be done to use it correctly.
7 - MAINTENANCE
• All components needing maintenance can be accessed after
removing either the control panel or front panel.

Heating up is slow or not enough
• Eliminate the accumulation of air in the jacket: press the
depression valve push button "I" letting off some bursts of
steam.
• Check supply voltage.
• Check the condition of the heating element.
Not heating
• Check supply voltage.
• Check if the safety thermostat has tripped (TS1) (push
button "U").
• Check the condition of the heating element (RS1); wiring
diagrams enclosed.
• Check contactor operation (KM1-KM2-KM3); wiring
diagrams enclosed.
• Check integrity of the fuses QS5
7.2 - Replacing parts
• Only authorised personnel must be allowed to replace parts
which must be original.
Outlet tap
• Unscrew with caution using an appropriate spanner, being
careful not to damage the chrome and not to unscrew the
appliance's connecting pipe.
Lid balancing springs
• Work with the lid closed.
• Release and extract the hinge pivots. The springs are
immediately accessible.
• Caution! the springs are preloaded, grip the pivots tightly
while releasing them!
Autoclave lid seal
• Remove the damaged seal.
• Clean the seal seat thoroughly, removing all rubber residuals
with trichloroethylene. Clean again with methylated spirits.
• Cut a piece that will fit.
• Apply plenty of glue, spreading it evenly over the seat of the
seal and on the cut edges.
• Put the seal in place, matching the edges perfectly.
• Close the lid and lock it, pulling evenly on all the tie rods.
• Let the glue dry without using the pan and keep the lid closed
for at least 18 hours.
• Open the lid and clean, scraping off any surplus glue.
