Charge the battery only with the charger supplied
with the machine, in a dry place with a temperature
between 0ºC and 40ºC.
Do not try to handle or open the battery and/or
charger.
Do not short-circuit the battery and be careful when
handling it so as not to accidentally short-circuit it
with conductive items such as rings, bracelets, keys,
etc. When the battery is short-circuited it increases in
temperature and can explode or burn.
Do not try to burn the battery or incinerate it even if
it is damaged or totally discharged. Do not leave the
battery near a heat source. The battery can explode
in heat or fire causing serious personal injury and
property damage.
This battery is sealed and liquid should never leak
from inside. If the seal is damaged and the liquid
touches your skin quickly, wash with plenty of soap
and water, neutralize the liquid with a weak acid such
as lemon or vinegar and go to your medical center
urgently. If the liquid from the battery gets into your
eyes, rinse them with plenty of water for 10 minutes
and immediately seek medical attention. If the seal
is damaged, do not inhale the vapors produced by
the battery as they may cause irritation. In case of
accidental inhalation, get fresh air and seek urgent
medical attention.
Always disconnect the battery from the machine
before doing any work. Only operate this machine
when it is unplugged.
2.5. USE AND CARE OF THE MACHINE
Use this machine and its accessories according to
the instructions provided and taking into account
working conditions and work to be done. The use of
this machine for jobs different to those stipulated can
cause danger.
The manufacturer will not be responsible for damages
provoked through an inadequate use of the machine.
Check that all security elements are installed and in
good working condition.
Remember that it is the end user operating the
machine who is responsible for any danger or
damages caused to other people or things. The
manufacturer will not in any case be held liable for
damages caused by an incorrect use of this machine.
Do not force the machine over its capacity. Use the
machine for the correct job. The use of the machine
for its proper job, will ensure that you work better and
more safely.
Keep the machine with a good maintenance. Ensure
all moving parts are aligned and that no other parts
are damaged or broken. If the machine is damaged,
repair before use. Many breakages occur because
machines are poorly maintained.
Maintain the handles of these machines dry and
clean. Oily or greasy handles are slippery and will
cause loss of control of the machine.
If the machine starts vibrating in a strange way, stop it
and examine it to find out the cause.
f the motive is not clear, take the machine to your
nearest service agent. Vibrations are always an
indicator that the machine has a problem.
Reduce the throttle setting during engine shut down
and, if the engine is provided with a shut-off fuel
valve, turn the fuel off when engine is stopped.
