NEBULAIR is a professional aerosoltherapy unit engineered according to the most recent scientific principles
and suitable for the application of intensive therapeutic treatments. NEBULAIR uses a reliable and powerful
compressor in combination with the new-generation RAPIDFLAEM 6 PLUS nebuliser, featuring an effecive
valve system which automatically adapts the intensity of the inhaled flow to the patient, thus maximising
its therapeutic efficacy and minimising the loss of drugs into the surrounding environment.
2. IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
This is a medical device and is only to be used with medication prescribed or recommended by
a doctor.
Before using the unit for the first time, and periodically throughout its life, check the power supply cord for
any damage; if you detect any damage, do not plug it in. Take the appliance immediately to an authorised
service centre or your dealer.
• Children and disabled persons should always use the unit under strict supervision of an adult who has
read this manual.
• The unit should not be used in the presence of anaesthetic mixture inflammable with air, oxygen or nitrous
oxide.
• Never use adapters for power supplies different from the one indicated on the bottom of the unit (plate
details). Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
Do not handle the plug with wet hands and do not use the appliance while bathing or showering. Never
submerge the unit in water; should this accidentally occur, unplug immediately. Do not remove or touch
the appliance under water before pulling out the plug. Take it immediately to an authorised service centre
or your dealer.
• Never wash the appliance under running water or by soaking.
• The casing of this unit is not protected against the penetration of liquids.
• Always unplug the power cord immediately after use.
• Do not obstruct the air slots (6) placed on both sides of the unit. During use, always place the unit on a
firm surface clear of obstacles. The air slots should be kept free of obstruction by gauze, hairs or similar
objects. Do not place any objects inside the air slots.
• Repairs should be performed by authorised personnel only. Unauthorised repairs will invalidate the warranty
and may represent a hazard to the user.
• The Manufacturer, the Retailer and the Importer are responsible for safety, reliability and performance only
if: a) the unit is used following the instructions for use; b) the electrical system of the premises where the
appliance is used is in conformity with current laws.
IMPORTANT!!
Microbial contamination: a personal use of the nebuliser and its accessories is recommended in order to
avoid any risks of infection.
Interactions: the materials used that come into contact with drugs have been tested with a wide range of
drugs. However, due to the variety and continuous evolution of the drugs, the possibility of a chemical
interaction cannot be excluded. Once opened, the drug should be used as soon as possible, and prolonged
contact between drug and nebuliser should be avoided.
