Speaker Setup
Perform when setting the speakers manually or when changing settings made in Audyssey Auto Setup.
• If you change the speaker settings after performing Audyssey Auto Setup, it will not be possible to select
MultEQ, Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume (vpage 46, 47).
• Manual Setup can be used without changing the settings. Please set if necessary.

• 1sp : Use only one surround back speaker. When you select this setting,
connect the surround back speaker to the left (L) channel.
Even when the "S.Back" setting is other than "None", sound may
not be emitted from the surround back speaker, depending on the
playback source. In this case, make "Surround Parameter" – "S.Back"
setting other than "OFF" (vpage 45).
NOTE
When the "Amp Assign" setting (vpage 49) is other than "Normal", you
cannot make the "S.Back" setting.
Front Height : Set the presence and size of the front height speakers.

low frequencies.
• None : Select when the front height speakers are not connected.
NOTE
When the "Amp Assign" setting (vpage 49) is other than "Front Height",
