Cleaning /Maintenance
1. Set the Speed Control Knob to "O" off and unplug the fan.
2. Clean the fan head and mount using a damp cloth and a mild detergent, if necessary. Make certain
all detergent residue is removed.
3. Never use abrasive cleaning agent or solvents. This may cause damage or deterioration to the
surface of the unit.
4. Do not immerse the fan in any form of liquid. Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan motor
housing.
Fan Blade Cleaning
1. Make certain the fan is unplugged. Unlock the metal clips on the front guard and remove the front
guard. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the set screw and remove the fan blade.
2. The fan blade and guard may be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
3. Reassemble the fan after the parts have dried completly. To do so, replace the fan blade, tighten
the set screw, and secure the front guard with metal clips. Do not plud the fan into an electrical
outlet until it is fully reassembled.
