3.1.3 Front Panel
3.1.3.1 Intensity Control
The stimulation intensity to each output channel is controlled by the up/down
arrow pairs found on each side of the display. The up arrow increases intensity
and the down arrow decreases intensity. The user begins application of electrical
stimulation by depressing the "up" arrow. Pressing the up arrow will increase the
intensity from zero. Simultaneously, the channel LED will illuminate to indicate
non-zero stimulation current in that channel. The stimulation level for each
channel can be seen in the upper right and left corner of the display.

3.1.3.2 ON/OFF
The red ON/OFF button powers up and powers down the device.
3.1.3.3 PAUSE
The PAUSE button interrupts the stimulation. The user will depress the pause
button to momentarily stop the electrical stimulation. Depressing the button a
second time, or increasing the intensity will allow stimulation to resume. In the
interest of patient comfort and safety, the intensity must be reset after "PAUSE"
has been used.
3.1.3.4 SETUP
The SETUP button allows the user to program the device. Depressing the button
places the device in "setup mode". In this mode the user can set the output
parameters for the device and lock in the available treatment regimens as needed.
3.1.3.5 Central Control Cluster
The central control cluster is used to navigate the menus that control
the operation of the device. The right/left arrows move the user from screen to
screen. The up/down arrows change the value seen on the screen. Example: (If
the device is not locked) At power up, the last program (PPR) used will appear
