7. Operation (Fig. 3-4)
7.1 Switching the equipment on/off (Fig. 2)
Press the main switch (4) "ON/OFF". The fan will run
and the operating LED will be lit. To switch off, press
the main switch again.
7.2 Switching on the heat output (Fig. 2)
If you press one of the two heat output switches (A /
B) when the heater ON, the equipment will heat with
1000 W. If you press both switches, the equipment will
heat with 2000 W.
7.3 Switching on the oscillation function (Fig. 2)
Actuate the oscillation switch (C). The equipment will
swivel approx. 45° to the left and 45° to the right. To
switch off the oscillation function and have the
equipment blow in one specific direction only, actuate
the oscillation switch (C) again.
7.4 Topple cut-out
If the appliance topples during operation, it will be
turned off automatically by the switch (Fig. 4 / Item 7)
and the LED will go out.
7.5 Overheating guard
In case of excessive heating the appliance will shut
down automatically. Should this happen, set the
mains power switch (Fig. 2 / Item 4) to „0ff" and pull
out the power plug. Allow the appliance to cool for
about 15 minutes. After eliminating the cause (e.g. a
covered air grille), the appliance can be switched on
again as described in 7.1.
It will not be possible to switch on the appliance if it
has not cooled sufficiently. If the overheating guard
triggers repeatedly, please contact your customer
service center (in Germany ISC GmbH).

8. Cleaning, maintenance and ordering
of spare parts
8.1 Cleaning

Before carrying out any cleaning and

maintenance work the equipment must be turned
off, disconnected from the power supply and
cooled down.
Use a damp cloth to clean the casing.
n
Remove dust pollution with a vacuum cleaner.
n
8.2 Servicing
Maintenance and repair work may only be carried
n
out by an electrical servicing contractor or ISC
GmbH.
Check the mains lead at regular intervals for signs
n
of defects or damage. A damaged mains lead
may only be replaced by an electrician or ISC
GmbH in compliance with the relevant
regulations.
There are no parts inside the equipment which
n
require additional maintenance.
