6.3. Adjusting the door catch & door hinge
6.3.1. Adjusting the door catch (all KE except KE 35/65 B & KE 65 B eco)
Step Action required
In order for the kiln door to seal optimally, it may be necessary to

readjust the door hinges.
Loosen the lock nut of the bolt on the door catch. Turn the hex
2
head screw on the door catch a half to full turn.
3 Retighten the lock nut of the bolt.
4 Use the same adjustment procedure for the second door catch.
5 Check whether the door rests evenly on the kiln housing.
6.3.2. Adjusting the door hinge (all KE except KE 35/65 B & KE 65 B eco)
Step Action required
1 In some rare cases it may be necessary to readjust the door hinges.
2 Make sure that the two door locks are closed.
Now loosen the screws of the door hinges by a maximum of half a

turn to one turn.
Now press the kiln door flat onto the kiln body and then tighten the
4
screws again.

In order for the kiln door to seal optimally, it may be necessary to

adjust the insulating cord (sealing cord) in the door.
2 The hook of the tension lock can be adjusted.
