Example for positioning furniture plates
Step
Action required
Place the 3 cordierite blocks forming a triangle on the floor of the
1
kiln.
2
Then place one of the furniture plates (optional accessory) on top.
Please note that all plates and blocks must be burnt-in (see section
3
4.8)!
Do not place the plates too close to the heating elements as this
4
might cause the plates to crack. The distance to the heating
element should be at least 20 mm.
We suggest that the furniture plates are supported in 3 points
5
(3 blocks per plate). Otherwise, the plates might be exposed to
stress from bending which could result in deformation or cracking.
6
For 2-piece furniture plates, we also suggest 3 blocks per plate
7
For 4-piece furniture plates, we also suggest 3 blocks per plate

Optional equipment: Automatic exhaust air flap
5.6.1.
Description
The kiln can optionally be equipped with an automatic
exhaust air flap. The exhaust air flap is opened and closed
by an electric servomotor. The servomotor is located on the
top of the furnace. The automatic exhaust air flap is operated
and controlled via the control unit. The appropriate event
function in the particular kiln controller must be selected to
do this. You must read the relevant instruction manual for the
control system carefully.
