5.1.1 Setting the DDL module address
The slave must be assigned a unique address in the DDL
line. It has to be between 1 and 14 (dec), which
corresponds to 1 to E (hex) on the 16-stage rotary
switch S1.
In order for the master to monitor the participants, the
addresses must be assigned consecutively, i.e. no spaces
are allowed. Double assignment is also not allowed. The
position of the module in the DDL line is not important.
The address 0 has a special meaning. It can only be
assigned if addresses 1 to 14 are not being used. This
means that only one module for every type of module may
be connected to the master (1 E/P converter, 1 valve
system, 1 input module and 1 output module).
