6.3.1 DDL connection

The following are located on the bus coupler:
BUS IN X71 plug for connecting the incoming DDL
W
cable and
BUS OUT X72 socket for connecting the outgoing DDL
W
cable.
DDL participant are to be connected via pre-assembled,
shielded cables.
No compensating current conditioned by differences
in potential may flow through this shield. Connect the
system's grounds using a separate grounding line.
The last module in the DDL line is connected only over
BUS IN X71. The DDL line must be connected as described
in chapter 2.1.2.
