9. CLEANING
Disassemble the transmission housing by removing the bolts and clean around the transmission and drive belt with a
brush or air compressor once or twice a year. Once every season, the drive belt should be cleaned internally. Remove both
wheels and clean the wheel gear and grass and dirt accumulated on the rims using a brush or air compressor.
CAUTION: If you have to tip the mower, always tip it to the right side with the fuel tank side up.
Cleaning the blades
It is recommended to clean the blade area after each use. Carefully clean the lower casing with water, remove the grass
and mud accumulated inside the chassis to prevent it from drying out and consequently complicating starting. The paint
inside the chassis may peel over time due to the abrasive action of the cut grass; in this case, act quickly by checking it by
hand and paint it with anti-rust paint to prevent the formation of rust that would eventually corrode the metal.
CAUTION: Do not pour water on the engine, electrical components, wheels, or transmissions. This could rust parts
and damage the machine.
Automatic cleaning system
Some models have an integrated hose connector to facilitate clea-
ning of the blade area:
- Connect the hose.
- Open the side outlet cover to let the dirt out.
- Start the machine with the tap running.
- Let the water run until you see that the water starts to run clear.
- Stop the machine and disconnect the hose.
Change of leaves
To replace the blade, unscrew and remove the blade screw. Empty
the oil tank before removing the blade.
- Reinsert it as illustrated.
- Tighten the screw properly.
- Tighten with a torque of 45 Nm.
- When changing the blade, also change the blade screw.
Oil change
1. Let the engine slow down and wait until the engine stops and cool slightly.
2. Disconnect the spark plug wire and keep it away from the spark plug cap.
3. When the engine is still warm, remove the oil plug and pour the oil into a container.
