3.4 Starting the engine
OPERATE THE ENGINE IN A WELL VENTILATED
AREA.
DO NOT connect any electrical device to the gene-
rator outputs before starting the engine.
1. Turn the throttle economizer
ON
switch to "OFF". You will be able
to turn the economizer throttle

2. While holding the fuel tank
cap to keep it from moving, turn
the air vent knob to "ON"
3. Turn the multiswitch to the
"START" position.
4, Firmly hold the carrying
handle to prevent the generator
from falling when pulling the
recoil starter.
5. Slowly pull the recoil starter
until it is engaged, then pull it
vigorously
6. After the engine starts, warm
it up until the engine stops when
the choke knob returns to the

3.5 Stopping the engine
Before stopping the engine, turn off and unplug all
electronic devices connected to the generator.
1. Turn the multiswitch to the "STOP" position.
2. While holding the fuel tank cap to keep it from
moving, turn the air vent knob to "OFF".
