The zero angle position between the sensor and magnet can be set either via the cable
or IO-Link.
Setting the zero point via cable:
1.
Connect pin 2 to the voltage supply "L+" for at least two seconds.
2.
LED 1 begins to flash
3.
Within 3 seconds connect pin 2 to ground or leave the connection open (unde‐
fined level)
4.
Position successfully taught in. LED 1 lights up constantly for five seconds
5.
If the position was not successfully taught in, LED 1 flashes quickly for five sec‐
onds

The sensor is adjusted and ready for operation.
To configure the device via an IO-Link procedure, read the MAS IODD, document num‐
ber #8024987. A description of the IODD can be found in the Technical Information,
document number #8027789.

The Troubleshooting table indicates measures to be taken if the sensor stops working.

LED/fault pattern
Green LED does not light up
Yellow LEDs are flashing.
Green LED is pulsating.
All LEDs are flashing quickly.
The sensor must be disposed of in line with applicable country-specific regulations.
When disposing of them, you should try to recycle them (especially the precious met‐
als).
