Ensure that the same test device type has been used
across all components (for example, a BD Veritor System
Test Flu A+B test device must be used with the QC swab
appropriate for the test device).
Ensure that the test device inserted was developed from
the QC swab that was scanned with the barcode
scanner.
On first occurrence, repeat the QC procedure. On
subsequent occurrences, contact BD.
If attempting to update the Analyzer, confirm that the
USB flash drive has been provided by BD.
Repeat the firmware update procedure as described in
the instructions included with the USB flash drive. On
subsequent occurrences, contact BD.
Ensure that the barcode scanned during this step is from
a valid BD Veritor Test Kit box label. For kits with two
barcodes, scan only the upper barcode that starts with
(17).
