INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION
• The drain pipes should be connected according to the installation manual for proper drainage.
• Insulate the drainpipes to prevent exterior condensation.
• Follow local plumbing codes when connecting drainpipes.
Requirements:
• All condensate drain lines should be insulated.
• Maintain a downward slope. Avoid waves or dips.
• The developed length of the condensate drain line should be no greater than 65 feet, and support hangers should not be
spaced greater than 5 feet apart. Drain lines should have a minimum 1/4" per foot slope; avoid dips and sags.
• Follow the piping diagrams below for condensate drain piping.
• Do not apply weight to the drain piping or fittings.

Drain Hose:
Attach the soft end of the drain hose to the drain port with clamp. The hard end is 1-1/4 PVC. Use glue to attach
condensate drain line.

Insulation Wrap:
• Drain pipe needs to be insulated to prevent condensation
buildup and possible water damage.
Lifting Drainpipe:
• The drainpipe can be lifted no more than 24in (360mm).
