Sets the minimum value for the power factor below which the inverter stops the
pump.
A fully loaded motor power factor is typically close to 0.9. As the load decreases the
power factor value decreases too. By setting minimum power factor critical value,
done by reading the value of the motor running with closed valves and deducting 0.03
to it; dry pump detection will be obtained when istantaneous value will fall below the
critical one.
Sets the time delay before the drive will perform the minimum power factor alarm.
Values range from 0 to 3 seconds. Unloaded motor correspond to run dry, so fast
intervention is necessary to prevent mechanical damages.Setting the value to 0 (zero)
disables this feature.
Sets the inverter response speed to pressure changes
This value can be set from a minimum of 1 (= slow response) to a maximum of 5
(=very fast response).
The response value selected depends on the characteristics of the system
(characteristics and position of the storage tanks and their inflation, type of flow
regulation elements, line length, etc.). In most cases, the set default value of RF (RF =
4) does not require any changes.
Sets the frequency value below which the flow is considered lower than the
minimum operating flow.
In the absence of flow sensor, to stop the drive when the user demand is finished,
you must define the OFF FREQUENCY (parameter OF). If you change the PRESSURE
SET, the OFF FREQUENCY will be automatically updated to the new operating
pressure. It is possible, during operation, update at any time the OFF FREQUENCY.
You can define the OFF FREQUENCY directly editing the parameter in the ADVANCED
PARAMETERS.
Sets the switchover frequency for the power module
The values that can be set are from 4 to 12 Khz. The longer is the cable between
inverter and pump the lower should be the FS value. For cable lenght more than 7
meters and sinwave filter is required.
Sets the interval between two consecutive automatic "no grip" start-ups
Values from 0 to 720 min (12 hours) can be selected
The value US = 0 (default value) EXCLUDES this function; automatic no-grip start-ups
will never be performed. When the pump will be inoperative for a long period (for
example seasonal operation), we recommend the use of this function. Each automatic
start-up runs the pump for only 5 seconds, just enough time to keep it from gripping.
Sets the relay output activation interval configured as recycle function (Eo=3) to a
time from 1 to 999 minutes (ab. 16 hours)
The typical use for this output is the activation of a solenoid valve installed on the
pump output line that drains, or recycles to the input, a small amount of water in
order to avoid that the pump and line freeze. When the valve opens, the drop in
pressure triggers the pump operation. The time the valve is open can be selected using
the AD parameter
