do not recommend using bridge mode with loads lower than 8
ohms. Model E-2 and E-4 cannot be used in bridge mode.
Enable switches 5 and 6 to use the amplifier in parallel mode, thus
feeding both channels with the signal plugged into channel A.
Channel B's inputs are disconnected in this mode. Ensure that
switches 3-4 and 7-8 are OFF.
Enable switches 7 and 8 to use the amplifier in stereo mode (the
default mode), thus having the inputs to channel A feeding channel
A and the inputs to channel B feeding channel B. Ensure that
switches 3, 4, 5 and 6 are OFF.
Never combine different modes. For example, if you use bridge
mode, do not use parallel or stereo modes. Do not activate (set to
ON) more than one adjacent pair of mode switches.

3.- INSTALLATION

3.1.- RACKING

All 4 amplifiers are 2 U DIN high (except E-20, 3U), standard 19-inch
rack mount width.
Four front-panel mounting holes are provided for use with M5 or M6
or 1/4" screws. If a number of amplifiers are used inside a rack, it
is recommended that the bottom one be placed against the base of
the rack, and the amplifiers piled up with no clearance in between.
Rear mounting is not normally needed, but four rear mounting holes
are provided if rear mounting is required.

3.2.- COOLING

A high-speed fan cools the aluminium heat sinks and transformer
from back to front.
When mounting the unit onto a 19-inch rack, a rack cooling system
is not required, since the air is exhausted out through the front grill.
However, the rack must not be sealed, and it should at least have a
large enough ventilation grill to allow air into the rack.
Fan speed is fixed for models E-8, E-12 and E-20. Models E-2 y E-4
have a variable speed fan, and could be stopped with low or no
signal.
