ADJUSTMENT OF THE MOWER DECK
The mower deck must be parallel to the soil to guarantee a uniform cut over the whole lawn. With the mower
on a flat surface, check that the tyre pressure is correct and check the float spring tension. If a satisfactory
parallel set-up cannot be achieved, adjust the register (fig. 7, ref. D). To adjust the mowing height, set the lever
(fig. 1B, no. 6) on the lowest position, insert two 30 mm shims at the sides under the edge of the deck, and set
the wire (fig. 2 – 2A, no. 12) under tension. CAUTION: with the engine running at max. r.p.m. the blade must
stop within 5 seconds once disengaged. Should this not be the case, please contact an authorized service
centre.
DRIVE BELTS – HYDROSTATIC AXLE
These belts are self-adjusting and do not require any adjustment. Simply check the springs tension. To replace
the belts release the tension spring (fig. 14, ref. G).
PTO BELT
Caution! This belt is special, use only original belts. To replace, proceed as already explained for replacement
of the hydrostatic transmission belt (fig. 14, ref. G):
1) Remove the guard above the deck by unscrewing the two screws (fig. 2, no. 13).
6) Remove the pin (fig. 12, ref. E).
7) Turn the lever anti-clockwise (fig. 12, ref. C).
Remove the PTO belt (fig. 12, ref. F).
The PTO belt is self-adjusting.
