Preparation for operation
POSITIONING OF THE UNIT
The ambient temperature must not exceed 40°C and ambient humidity should not
exceed 85%. Place the unit in a way that ensures good air circulation. Maintain a
minimum clearance of 10 cm from any wall of the unit. Keep the unit away from any
hot surfaces. Always operate the unit on a level, stable, clean, fireproof and dry
surface and out of the reach of children and persons of impaired mental, sensory
and intellectual functions. Place the unit in such a way that the mains plug can be
reached at any time. Ensure that the power supply to the unit corresponds to that
specified on the identification plate!
ASSEMBLY OF THE DEVICE
In order for the scale to function properly, it must be perfectly level. The scale is
equipped with one level and adjustable feet for level control, with which it is
possible to compensate for slight differences in height and/or any unevenness in
the surface on which the scale is standing.
Adjust the feet so that the air bubble is exactly in the middle of the vial.
Place the scale horizontally and align the bubble inside the level.
For accurate measurements, re-level the scale carefully after each repositioning.
1 - the scale is properly leveled
2 - the scale is not properly leveled
SAMPLE UNIT - used when entering the counted samples on
the pan into the scale memory.
CE - used to cancel numerical setup data or cancel previous
weight data.
ZERO - scale zeroing button - the zero function essentially
corrects the true zero on the scale nd informs it that there is
nothing on the pan.
TARE - taring the scale.
QTY/SET - used to switch between normal counting and
quantity checking operations
