NEVER Operate
• Never wear loose- fit t ing or hanging garment s while
using t he appliance. These garment s may ignit e if t hey
cont act hot surfaces causing severe burns.
• Do not let cooking grease or ot her flammable mat erials
accumulat e in or near t he range. Grease in t he oven or
on t he cookt op may ignit e.

• If t here is a fire in t he oven during self- clean, t urn t he
oven off and wait for t he fire t o go out . Do not force
t he door open. Int roduct ion of fresh air at self- clean
t emperat ures may lead t o a burst of flame from t he
oven. Failure t o follow t his inst ruct ion may result in
severe burns.
• Never leave oil unat t ended while frying. If allowed t o
heat beyond it s smoking point , oil may ignit e result ing
in fire t hat may spread t o surrounding cabinet s. Use a
deep fat t hermomet er whenever possible t o monit or oil
t emperat ure.
• To avoid oil spillover and fire, use t he minimum amount
of oil when using a shallow pan- frying and avoid cooking
frozen foods wit h excessive amount s of ice.
• Use proper pan size and avoid pans t hat are unst able or
easily t ipped. Select cookware t hat is mat ched t o t he
size of t he burner. Burner flames should be adjust ed so
t hat t hey do not ext end beyond t he bot t om of t he pan.
Excessive flame may be hazardous.
• Always use t he LITE posit ion when ignit ing t he t op
burners and make sure t he burners have ignit ed.
• When using glass/ ceramic cookware, make sure it is
suit able for cookt op service; ot hers may break because
of sudden change in t emperat ure.
